A few things about me (Keri K. Smith):

You might know that I was one of the original founding members of Destination Caldwell. We created the Caldwell Branding, Marketing and Action Plan in an effort to revitalize Caldwell and to support our agricultural heritage.

I served Canyon County for 10 years in different roles: Zoning Administrator, senior planner, Floodplain Administrator, Code Enforcement, and the webmaster.

The State Floodplain Coordinator was a cherished position where I worked for two years in hazard mitigation working closely with State and Federal Agencies. My favorite duty though was helping local jurisdictions wade through the heavily regulated flood insurance program to help citizens across the entire State.

Three years with the City if Caldwell team was inspiring as the economic development specialist. I helped coordinate the planning and construction of Indian Creek Plaza and recruited over 13 new businesses to downtown Caldwell.
